Phishing

Phishing " or " phishing " is a common scam on the web. It consists, for its author, in sending you a message pretending to be your bank, your merchant, your internet or electricity supplier, your social security organization ... in order to get you to enter confidential data (name of user and password and sometimes even bank details) or to visit a malicious site .

What to do if you receive a suspicious message?

NEVER click on the link, do not open any appendices to the message. Delete the message and empty your trash.
If you clicked on the link or if you provided information, change your password as quickly as possible (on all sites where the same password is used).
Have you entered bank details? Contact your bank as soon as possible.
You can always report phishing emails to the email address:  suspect@safeonweb.be .
If in doubt, you can contact us by phone on 0032-2-215 41 23 or by email at  info@BabyGold.be .

How to recognize phishing emails?

Fraudulent emails are often very well done, but they often contain clues that should alarm you:
• The message is too good to be true;
• Phishing emails often contain spelling and grammatical errors;
• Check the sender and the domain name, these are slightly different from the real versions;
• With the exception of our newsletters, we will never contact you without a prior reason related to an action on your part (a recent purchase, a repair from our after-sales service, a question you asked us ...)
You can find more information about phishing and internet fraud at  www.safeonweb.be .
